You decide who sees what
Visibility, roles and permissions in Orgman follow the real responsibilities in your organization — from a single task to the whole organization.
Three levels of visibility
Every task has a visibility you choose when you create it, and templates can set it in advance.
Public
The whole organization can see it.
Shared
The creator, the assignees, and the people and departments it is shared with can see it.
Private
Only the creator can see it — and administrators, if your organization allows it.
Subtasks follow the visibility of their parent task, so shared work never becomes a back door into the whole project.
Roles that match responsibilities
Roles combine: one person can, for example, manage both leave and the visitor register.
User
Basic access: their tasks, messages, files, notes and leave requests.
Administrator
Organization settings, people, channels, task setup, plugins and reports.
Channel manager
Creates channels and runs the ones they administer.
Leave manager
Leave policy and allowances, direct bookings and approval of any request.
Report viewer
Views and exports the organization's reports, without administrator rights.
Visitor register manager
Keeps the visitor register at reception.
On top of that, each department has its own roles with levels, and the department leader approves their people's absences. Modules, terminology and storage limits are set by MagnetDev's platform administrators during onboarding.
Fine-grained permissions
Decide who may change what on a task: which fields and actions are open to public and shared viewers, assignees and administrators.
- Separate rules for viewers, assignees and administrators
- Organization defaults and permissions per task type
- Administrators see every task only if you allow it
Your organization, your rules
Only the modules you need are switched on, the app speaks your terms and carries your icon.
- Modules switched on per organization
- Your organization's terms in both languages
- Your organization's icon and theme
